Children’s voices are a strong objective in the AvON ethos. We have ensured that children and youth have been involved in workshops, feedback sessions and consultations. We run a hands on kaitaki with three local schools, Pareawa Banks Avenue, Whītau and Christchurch East.

They have become a new generation of guardian in the Red Zone with encouragement to develop and implement there own playground designs.We also work with other schools in the OARC area to participate in regular planting and mulching bee’s.
